7th STREET CASINO
Kevin Lien
General Manager

I live my life in the spirit taught to me by my Grandfathers, which is to stand up for your beliefs, be kind and generous to others, work hard, don’t be afraid to be adventurous, have fun in whatever you do, and to never lie, that way you never have to remember anything.
I have always been entrepreneurial from 6th grade when I took on two paper routes then employed my siblings to deliver the papers. I have had a vast array of jobs .At the age of 14 my first job was as a bus boy at a newly opened JB’s Big Boy. I washed dishes and had to give the “Big Boy” holding up the burger out in front of the restaurant a bath. Since completing my degree, I have worked in the construction industry, public housing business and finally in the gaming industry. I started in the gaming industry as a Controller with no ambition to go any farther so it would not interfere with my rental business. That thought quickly changed and after working 10 different job, for five different Tribes at seven different casinos, I landed at 7th Street Casino as the General Manager. I enjoy all the adventure throughout the jobs and cherish all the people I have met and worked wit along the way.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time at my house, where I have many projects in progress. I love to work on landscaping the yard. You know you never have enough plants. Not completely a home body, I do enjoy dining out, (since I hate to cook) , taking in concerts, plays and movies and traveling which usually consists of trips to California and the warm weather. Most recently, I enjoy spoiling the children of my nieces, nephews and god kids. I take the title of “Great Uncle” very seriously.

Mark Adame
Security Manager

I spent over twenty years in the Air Force during that time I traveled to many different countries and met a ton of people, many who I still keep in contact with today. I started working for casinos immediately after the Air Force and have made casinos my second career. I have worked for Harrah’s, Harrah’s Prairie Band, Ameristar and now 7th Street Casino. I have worked in management positions in each of my past positions, I gained hands-on experience working with front line employees and seeing from their perspective what works, and what does not.
In my current role, first and foremost I am able to show our team members my leadership and managerial skills on how to handle people issues in a more positive way. 7th Street has a history of dealing with difficult and at times even dangerous people. Trying to handle these kinds of issues repeatedly tends to harden an officer or leader’s perspective of how best to handle them.
It is my hope that by keeping a positive outlook and reinforcing my help and understanding of what the team goes through, I have made a difference and that my team will come to work with a commitment to be better employees.
At home, I like to cook family favorites such as tamales, tostados, fajitas, rice, beans mesquite grilled chicken, chili pork meat, and salsa. I like to watch sports on TV, garden, work outdoors and I love to spend time with my family at Disney.

Warren Hoover
Slot Manager

When I was a child, my family moved from town to town because my father was in the Army. We ended up in a small town in Nevada and that is where my gaming career began.
Fifty years later, after working in gaming in a variety of different capacities, I began the final chapter of my gaming career at 7th Street Casino. I even made it to retirement, but as I soon discovered you can only do so much golf and yard work before you run out of things to do. So here I am once again serving as the slots manager for 7th Street Casino.
When I am not working you can find me on the golf course, listening to music or spending time with family.

Jim Nesvold
Facilities Manager

As the facilities director I get to work with some really great people. We work hard but we also like to have fun which makes work enjoyable. I have been with the 7th Street Casino for 9 years. I am a Wyandotte Nation tribal member and am fortunate to work for my tribe.
When I’m not a work I like to enjoy my quite time and take in a concert from time to time. I have three great kids, four grand kids and one on the way. I always look forward to spending time with family.

Jillian Rainingbird
Cage & Vault Manager

I enjoy candle lit dinners, couple massages and salsa dancing…Who am I kidding? I want to see the food that I eat-turn the lights on. I really don’t want anyone that I don’t know touching me, and I cannot do the salsa but I do make a mean guacamole!
On a serious note, I am the ultimate soccer mom, the godmother to eight kids (I have no idea what their parents were thinking) and a casserole maker extraordinaire. I love serving special needs and underprivileged children. Fighting for equal opportunities for these children has become my passion.
I have been employed at 7th Street Casino for close to 12 years. The past 9 years as a Cage/Vault Manager.
When I am not being the ultimate mom or trying to change the world, I can be found irritating my husband, while he is attempting to teach me French. I also enjoy watching the chiefs dominate the NFL.

Jerrell Royal
Marketing Manager

As a Wyandotte leader, what I enjoy most is working with my team to continuously develop their talents. Every person on my team contributes to the path and direction we take for developing marketing campaigns, delivering customer service and working toward creating better experiences for our guests. I have been fortunate in that I have been able to work with many teams throughout my career, which has also contributed to my growth personally.
For hobbies, I continuously train in Capoeira, which is a Brazilian Martial Art that combines self-defense, music and dance to keep me active. I also enjoy vacation time with my family and I enjoy watching my children pursue their passions as they are growing up.

Brad Waddell
Security Manager

I have been in the casino business for 23 years and have spent the last 12 years with 7th Street Casino. I love anything sports related but especially college football and basketball. I golf when I am able and I like to work in the yard.
My role as a leader is to first lead by example. Next, I typically hire applicants with no experience and I help train them to be the best surveillance operators they can be. I educate them so they know that they are making a big difference in people’s lives at this Casino because they work for a Tribe and not a corporation.

Mark Washington
Food & Beverage Manager

I have been in the casino industry since 1995. I started my casino career as a table games dealer and worked in several other departments in the industry to gain knowledge on how the business runs as a whole.
My hobbies are golfing, grilling and traveling. I like to stay active as much as possible and as time allows.
My role as a leader is to serve the company and the guests in any way possible. I do my best to represent the company to the best of my abilities and to establish relationships and help facilitate every day operations in the best way possible.

Debra Zismer
HR Manager

I have lived all across this great country of ours and I believe that each location has its own special beauty. In the process, I have made friends from all over the world.
I have been a Human Resource professional for almost 40 years but many, many years ago, I worked in Hallmark Cards’ warehouse packing boxes full of cards. I have worked as an exercise instructor and held home shows selling crystal glassware and cosmetics. My current position as the Human Resource Manager for 7th Street Casino allows me to interact with a wide variety of individuals. I have loved learning about the Wyandotte Nation and I am incredibly proud to represent them here at 7th Street.
I am originally from the greater Kansas City, Missouri area, but have lived all across the county form California to Florida. Now that I am back in my home state, I spend most of my spare time with my daughter, future son-in –law and granddaughter showing them all of the wonderful things that Kansas City has to offer and traveling to tropical locations when I can.
